Healing friction burns on labia minora?

My boyfriend and I had rough intercourse over the weekend and he is a little large for me. Long story short I have friction burns on the under fleshy part of the lips of my labia minora. I have had them since Sunday and they are getting a little better day by day but very uncomfotable and painful. Does anyone know how long this takes to heal? And in the healing process do they itch like a normal wound does? It's not a huge or horrible itch just a little one here or there. My boyfriend and I are both STD free and I am positive I do not have a yeast infection. I have been using a cold compress and taking Epsom salt Luke warm baths. Any other suggestions?
