How to fix ingrown toenails FAST?

Well, the toenails are already ingrown so there really isn't an instant fix. There are some things you can do for some relief though. First, hopefully your toenails are long enough that you can cut a "V" shaped notch in the very center, top part of the nail. That will take the pressure off the sides of the nail. Next you need to figure out what is causing your nails to grow inward. There are really two major reasons- first is that you are cutting your toenails too short. Toenails should be cut evenly across, even with the tip end of your toe. Shorter than that causes pressure to go to the sides, and the nail grows inward. So if yours are too short to feel the leading edge of the nail when you put your finger on the end of your toe- let them grow. The second reason for the trouble has to do with your shoes. If your shoes are too small and your toes can touch the end of the inside of the shoe- it's too small for your foot and you need a larger size. If your piggies are so crammed inside that you can't wiggle them slightly apart inside the shoe, the toe cap of the shoe is too narrow, and the shoes probably too small as well. Your toes should never touch any part of your shoe, really- sides or end, unless you happen to be wiggling your piggies inside. Otherwise, the pressure ends up causing nail problems. So aside from cutting that notch, check your shoes for fit and replace those that don't. At your age, feet grow pretty rapidly and shoe size can change within a matter of a month or so sometimes. And if you've got puss on the ingrown portions, show this to a parent and get seen by a doctor. Don't do home surgery, please. Sometimes nails do get so bad you need a doctor's help to fix it. Hopefully the notch, letting the nails grow, and replacing shoes will solve your trouble though.
