Sony Vegas Pro 10 I don't think is working right..?

So, in Sony Vegas Pro 10 I import a video clip and audio, but as soon as I put them together the video clip mutes the song where the clip is, I tried muting the video clip (Because it has sound as well) but it doesn't work. I have reopened SV and restarted my computer and still nothing.
