How should I clean my industrial?

Yesterday I got my industrial, and the piercer told me to have a spray bottle or a cotton ball dipped in Epsom salt and water. I was looking some things up and a lot of people are saying to not use Epsom salt, but sea salt instead. Which is better? And does it matter if I wash it more than twice a day?
