Can I use Epsom Salts also in Goldfish tank?

I get differing answers to a simple question. Can I use Epsom Salts to lower the pressure in the eyes of fish with Pop-eye? Also, should I give Epsom Salts dips once per day, or treat the entire tank? Anyone with water composition experience, only, please!
