Is this period pain or something worse ? Please help ? ?

I'm on my period & I have never felt this sick before on it. I feel extremely nauseous but I can't puke. & my stomach is in knots. Then my breathing is really irregular. Ive taken pms pills today & have followed the directions but I feel like it isn't helping. & ironically I had a doctors appointment today. He did give me a prescription for my period but I cant get it until tomorrow. I'm in so much pain so please help. What can I do now ? I've been lying in bed all day & I had a hot bath with Epsom salts & it still didn't help. I even cried because I can't handle the pain & I honestly never cry. So help me please !!!
