Is there a deadline on a Florida Circuit Case?

A case was filed in 2007, the summons have been returned non-served 4 times. If this keeps happening and the defendants are never served, does the case eventually expire? In other words, will the judge eventuallu close the case permanently or can it be reopened every year?
